Martial Art ArticlesThis training schedule is very intensive and would be done to this extent only by the boxers who are at the peak of their training cycle in preparation for a fight. Morning

  • 06:00 - Warm up/Stretch
  • 06:10 - 10 km. Run
  • 07:10 - Drills (Knees, Kicks Teeps and Punches on the bag)
  • 07:30 - Shadow Box (5 to 6 rounds)
  • 08:00 - Bag Work (4 to 5 rounds)
  • 08:25 - Pad Work (2 to 5 rounds)
  • 08:50 - Clinching/sparring (alternate days up to 5 rounds)
  • 09:15 - Drills (as before)
  • 09:35 - Exercises (sit ups push ups chin ups)
  • 09:50 - Shadow Box (2 to 3 rounds)
  • 10:05 - Cool Down Stretch

Evening

  • 16:00 - Warm Up/Stretch
  • 16:10 - 3 to 5 km. Run
  • 16:35 - Skip (4 rounds)
  • 16:55 - Shadow Box (5 to 6 rounds)
  • 17:25 - Bag Work (6 to 8 rounds)
  • 18:05 - Pad Work (5 to 6 rounds)
  • 18:35 - Clinching/Sparring (alternate days, 5 to 6 rounds)
  • 19:05 - Drills (as morning)
  • 19:25 - Shadow Box (3 to 4 rounds)
  • 19:40 - Cool Down Stretch
