Hello everyone. I have been in martial arts for 8 years, then had a break for 20! I've just gone back in the last 4 months. I am a black belt first dan in a style made up by our chief instructor which included kick boxing and self defence (knife, hand, escrima) and karate. The club was called Kenbukai. I have recently joint the British Black Belt School and they have honoured my black blet. I do mainly kick boxing here. I'm hoping to take my second dan at Christmas.

Hi my name is Jane. I am a first dan black belt. Having trained for over 7 years from when I was 14 I gained my blackbelt at 17. My club then closed down and I haven't trained for over 20 years! I am now back at another club and they have honoured my blackbelt. Hoping to take me 2nd dan at christmas.

Hi Jane, welcome to the forums! Apologies for that problem with your post - I've temp-fixed it by altering the title of your post (cheating ), but I'm waiting for news on the actual fix! Hope you have fun here, everyone's really friendly and new stuff is added all the time

As you travel to the mountain, there may be people ahead of you. You may pass some of these people on the way, and some of them may pass you. You are all going to the same place, so it is as well to be civil to each other on the journey!
