You're welcome!

Slap some of that arnica on those tendons morning and night then - its worth a try!

Sounds like your body's under a bit of stress?

Yeh, I'll PM you some guidelines for building strength - sure we can be small and mighty!

Thanks for your kindness.

Personally I'd save your money and don't worry about all the herbs. There is zero evidence to back up any of those claims, so why bother?

Healthy eating is likely to do alot more than smearing some plants on it.

I'd say you are stuffed in you ever want to hit anything again. It will heal but if it goes again (and it can do) your problems will be doubled. I lost two very good fighters because of this injury, they both followed doctors orders etc, but their fighting days were over and they drew their pensions If it doesn't heal properly first time, you can get a reconnection with scar tissue and the process of fixing it can involve grafts etc.

Chance it if you like, but I'd draw time on 'contact'. I'd rather break my leg than this bone being a Martial Artist.

Hi there

Reiki for a broken bone? I'm a huge reiki skeptic. Better to rest it!

Reiki will never hurt you. All you do is rest it anyway so no harm there. Reiki is the energy of the universe being used to help heal what needs healing, People don't direct it (it's not the Force people).

My ex-wife is a practioner, and I can only say that some of the people she has worked on have made amazing recoveries. Was it the reiki or the positive thougts of those being practiced on? Does it matter? They are better, and that is what matters.

well it is a clean break and not right across so stands a good chance of healing well. still in pot until end of august..i was surprised how air pressure affects a broken bone..i've been on a plane in a steep ascent during a storm and it felt like the bone would explode..also went down a steep pass in Switzerland and got similar pain..it is giving me a fascinating insight into reactions of the body to external force

I have read a few of your posts in the past Tartovski and you seem to be quite cynnical about alot of things, which of course makes for interesting conversation ....

But you say there is no proof?

Well there are in fact millions of people who have used and felt benefits from herbs and ointments. Also what you fail to realise is that most modern medicine came from older traditional medicines like herbs and plants and still use certain plants as a bases for some drugs.

Fact is that none of these are a miracle cure but they can give you pain relief, help you relax, strenthen your digestive system etc and I will agree that a healthy diet can also be effective of course but many people and doctors have suggested the use of joint supplents from natural sources.

The ancients have been using herbs for generations and as a healing method does in fact work and the proof is all the millions it has helped. If you constantly looking for scientific proof then research into the natural benefits of herbs for the organs as they are proven to effect the body in various ways but as with most things on this world some people say it works, other people say it doesn't that goes for doctors and scientists aswell.

Its a method of assisting the body to heal not to cure.
