Wow, reason to do a martial art if I ever heard one! So being a ninjer is cool these days is it? I must be getting old or something!
well!
we do everything that you would expect.
at other martial arts i do, they show us how to put on the locks and how to attack, at ninjitsu they show us how to get out of the locks and how to counter the attacks.
hey!
don't be so uptight, its just a topic in an internet forum. i have had "to use" so im not just doing it because i think its cool, thats just stupid. i don't like the way that you make fun of me, so please stop.

secondly, instead of us lightening up maybe you need to consider that you are talking to mostly adults who have a lot of experience in the martial arts. next time you want to start a thread try to do so by actually opening up with some thoughts. don't just say i wanna talk about something and then not actually bring something intelligent to the table.

Oh how the forums have gone to hell since I first joined...
Is there anything wrong with thinking your particular style is cool? If you think it's cool it means you have enthusiasm, if you have enthusiasm it means you will progress through your system fast and with caution, care, and attention. If you progress you will grow to become powerful and proficient. So thinking your style is cool Su-Lin, can save you.
Keep the passion about your style man, and everything else will fall into place.

As far as I understand it, this lad is just enthusiastic about his style. If you don't think the thread appeals to you because it lacks an air of intelligence or doesn't strike a particuarly profound tone, don't contribute. It's not compulsory.
Though I do agree that the topics that are being started are a little...less eloquent and thoughtful than those previously seen in the site's early days.
