"American" TKD form 2 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Anyone know anything about the "george Washington" or "E Pluribus Unum" category of TKD forms? I can't find a reference to them anywhere online, but the later version of Gen. Choi's TKD manual has them.

What are they like blackbelt forms or what?

They way I always understood it there was 24 patterns reflecting the 24hrs in a day?

Or 25 if you have to learn both Kodan and Juche.

Gen Choi's book does in fact state 24 forms for 24 hours. It is meant to indicate the span of a day and of his lifes work at the same time.

I think those forms were created by Joon Rhee, but I'm not positive on that one.

That's very likely, Dan. I know he created a form called, "Betthoven's 5th", which is executed with the appropriate musical accompaniment...

Yes, "Might for Right" is the slogan for his school. He made several forms (most of them named after classical pieces of music). They're certainly not traditional sets and they have no real depth - but they're fun to watch while you enjoy Bach or Beethoven!
