Out of training for a couple of weeks 1 Month, 1 Week ago  
I found out yesterday I have a peripheral corneal ulcer Gutted, in pain and crossing my fingers that it doesn't spread, as that will be bad.

So I can't train for a bit, I can't wear contacts and my eye is painful and looks dreadful. I have no idea what to do while I'm not training.

Cue lots of threads from me.

Just an infection. My eye has been a bit dodgy for a couple of weeks but thought it was just my contacts being annoying. I should have got it checked out earlier as it has probably spread to my cornea now. Was probably just something getting trapped in my contact lense that became infected and then spread

Sounds nasty, hope its better soon.

Is it that they want you to rest or that training might cause damage?

I can't really train much in glasses but I need to be sure the infection has cleared before I start rolling/training again so it doesnt get worse.

Thats not good Sui Lin hope it gets sorted.

Could you keep your strength and stamina up with some excercise rather than training.

I'm hoping to do some weights next week as I am ok doing that in glasses plus I shouldn't sweat too much.If not I will go mad

I know how you feel. I injured my left foot at work a little while back. I had hoped it would just get better on its own, but it's only gotten worse. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow so hopefully it will be fixed soon. In the meantime, I'm unable to train or perform techniques up to my usual standard and it's really gotten me down. Ah well, it'll heal up eventually and I'll be back in the game. Good luck with your injury
