I'm sure there are Kung Fu schools in Leeds. You looking for traditional kung fu or contemporary wushu?

Su Lin,

You looking for traditional kung fu or contemporary wushu

Mr Sampson gave me my introduction to Parkour on saturday. Not that you should judge a person on a first meet, but believe me when I say this guy is action packed....

Have a google Ed, but to the best of my knowledge of the leeds scene there isnt much worth shouting about in terms of teaching standards for the Chinese arts.. and ill stand corrected if there is a wushu class.

Also Ed if you get chance get some vids of you and the guys doing Parkour.... users on here would love to see that stuff man!

I think parkour guys are impressive. I was just asking if he wanted to do traditional kung fu or contemporary wushu,as there's usually big differences.

Re:wushu in leeds 7 Months, 1 Week ago
a mixture of the two would be perfect really, the contemporary wushu would help with my parkour and my self taught gymnastics, and the kung fu to broaden my fighting styles which at the moment is very limited, spared with a few of my friends on saturday with different styles. this one guy just used things he had picke dup himself, i reconised some tai chi and drunken fist ( seriously, that drunken fist is no laughing matter, so hard to fight against) i ended up hurting my foot because i couldnt get passed his muay tai style block lol. but yea, either would be cool.

and i will do pete, i was unsure whether or not this would be an appropriate forum, and thanks for the complimentary description

This lot dropped a leaflet through my door a year or so ago -

http://www.leedstaichi.org/

I know nothing about them because by the time I'd decided I wanted to give them a go they'd stopped running a class in Beeston...

Looks like they still do classes in Leeds though.
