Re:training at home 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Since I have moreless started training in martial arts in Jujitsu in Jan this year, I have only got most my kit together, like the Pads, Gloves, & a Teokudo (SP?) bag thingy, so when the weather gets better, my Dad is going to sort the garden out, and I can set up this bag thingy in the garden, meaning mowing the lawn & cleaning up pressies left for us by the cat, as our garden is like the grave yard of half eaten mice etc lol! I can't do dead mice etc lol! Plus Dad has recently retired & has bought a few bits to keep fit so soon as garden is sorted we can make a gym type thing in the garden & do workouts in the garden, when weather is better, thats if us in the UK will get some decent weather lol! I also live near a swimming pool/lesure centre so I could try and find time to go swimming once a week till weather gets better lol!

Well I do all kinds of training at home. I utilize Bodyweight exercises mostly. I also use resitance bands and trees for throwing practice.

I also have a Yoga practice to build flexability, as well as a plyometric routine to develope explosive power.

On tope of this I still practice my Kata and Poomse, and when I get a chance I do Rondori.

Home practice is essential to martial mastery.

Do you throw trees or throw things at trees?

Training at home is ESSENTIAL! I tell my students that 90% of their training happens outside of the training hall.
