Hoping this is going to be as good as the last event, which was a return to form after some poor cards.
I'd love to see Chuck get another shot at the title so I'd like see him beat Evans. Should be close with Liddell's power and takedown defence versus Evans's speed and takedowns.
Would also be good to see Rich Franklin win at a heavier weight than normal, but I think he'll struggle against Hamill. Got to feel sorry for Franklin, he can beat everyone at 185, except for Anderson Silva who has destroyed him twice.
Also hope Kurt Pellegrino, who I had the pleasure of training with last year, puts on a good show.

Re:UFC 88 - Liddell vs Evans 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
As much as I like Chuck, and he's as local boy as local can get, I think Evans just has the edge on him with his speed, power, and youth on his side. I like Rich Franklin too, but even he has slowed considerably in the last fight I saw him in even tho he won. Like you said tho, hope it'll be a good show all around!

Re:UFC 88 - Liddell vs Evans 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Saw this on Sherdog:
“I’ll definitely take a little time,” said Liddell, who turns 39 in three months. “I always said I’ll decide if I want to retire in the training room, not after a fight. I’m fine. I got caught. What do you want me to say?”
Never in his career had Liddell been finished so brutally. Still, the California native has designs on one day regaining the light heavyweight championship he once held for more than two years. His loss to Evans likely cost him an immediate shot at reigning 205-pound kingpin Forrest Griffin.
“It’s still my goal to get back in there [and win the title],” Liddell said, “but, obviously, it’s going to take a little bit longer.”

In my opinion, having only just got round to watching UFC 88,
Liddel was sloppy, this Evans guy was faster and had a better fighting style in my opinion and I think he will go a long way. Although cocky, he has definately got reason to be.
Though I don't think him tweaking his nipples before a fight will catch on....

I like Evans and though he was unlucky not to get the decision when he fought Tito Ortiz. I just wanted Chuck to get one last shot at the title.
I know what you mean about the nipples! My girlfriend thought it was hilarious
