I have no idea where it comes from, or why it has chosen me. I'm not used to other living creatures in my space, I even managed to kill my basil plant the other week.
Do you feed the cat?
We've had about 4 cats adopt us this way; its just something cats tend to do. Sam's right, one of our last pair of cats that adopted us, although it tended to live most of the time with us, he'd happily go into other houses, even while the owners were away! (but what do you expect with a pair of male cats called Ronnie and Reggie!?)
