Anyone seen this show yet?

It was on last night and I've never seen anything as disgusting.

Steve is the Ex Cop that used to act as security for Jerry Springer and break up the fights.
Now they've given him his own show.

So this guy half his size, was brought on, because he'd slapped his girlfriend about.
He was an ex-con having served eight years in prison 18-26.

I know this guy is a turd, but there he is, in a room full of people shouting at him and Steve trying to goad him into taking a swing at him.

Just the worst TV I've seen in a long time.
People that get off on that sort of thing disgust me.

That "Steve Explodes" clip reminds me of watching the WWF (WWE?) when I was 10 years old! The steroids, the crowd, the acting! It's all utterly ridiculous!

Very true. When I helped set up a scene for Jerry Springer UK it was actually when I was co-running a pro wrestling promotion. They had a great time!

It is all very low brow and over time has got more and more contrived to the point where it really is just like pro wrestling. Like pro wrestling it started out as fixing a legitimate business and like pro wrestling it is now an entertainment entity in itself having long gone past the point where most people questioned whether or not it was staged and is now a full blown variation of the soap opera/pantomime.

Unfortunately this is just part of the American fabric nowadays...reality daytime crap shows. C'mon over Andy, and I'm sure we can find a platform for a new daytime talk show you can host

I train Navy Seals in unarmed combat and also hit women!!!
Actually maybe he would - now that might be worth watching.

Oh for sure.
I'm half Steve Wilko's size, but his mommy would be cleaning **** out of his pants for days and he'd need counselling if it was my show and he were a guest.

That's the thing.
Regardless of how much this is 'staged'.
The guy getting 'teary eyed' was getting adrenal dump and that means the show is about 'bullying' people into an emotional state.

You can say, "well he's a turd, so he had that coming", but that doesn't make it entertainment, or mean anyone should be making money from it.

If he was then it was tied into his performance. I don't see the issue unless, of course, it is because you don't agree with this type of drama.
