First off, I'd like to say that I am in NO way trying to "steal", "Influence" or generally disrupt members from MartialEdge.net. I felt that posting in a Martial Art forum would get the best review, since the users will know what they want.

Bascially, I also have a Martial Art forum.
It is fairly new, but never-the-less is still of great quality, with friendly users and generally an all rounder.

With this in mind, I'd like a REVIEW of the my site (Note that I am not asking/forcing anyone to sign up, as I respect this forum and its owner(s)).

What do you think?
What could I improve?
What could I change?

Why did you choose the name MartialPoint? Our users are pretty honest so im sure you will get useful feedback on your forum.

its not bad as a forum, but you seem to get alot of posts with no replies. people posting for advice and not bothering to share their input on any other topics, and i noticed how popular the street fighting section is

I chose the name Martial Point because...well I just did
I suppose better domains where taken and I couldn't think of much else. I was also into websites called 'SitePoint' and 'DigitalPoint' at the time.

Yeah, unfortunatley my site isn't that big yet, which is why I sumbitted it for review, incase there was something repelling people away. I'll be working on it over the next few weeks though putting a lot into it.

I guess I sorta agree.

Theres only really 6 or 7 hardcores like me, the rest are either sorta new or webmasters.
That's the point in posting the review, to see if it was somehow repelling (as stated before) the proper martial artists (which are GOLD when you come across 'em)
