Experiences with Doormen. A.K.A bouncers.......... 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Thought I would share my experiences with you of possibly the most unpro doorman I have ever seen, ironically a short British guy in a French Alps bar called 'The Saloon.'

His manner was aggressive and the way he dealt with situations that could of been dealt with by a few words was in my opinion very procative.

The worst thing was the steel kosh I spotted strapped to his back. Goodness knows what he would do with it given the chance.

Anyone had any bad experiences/Or witnessed something similar?

My instructor told us a story.
He was doing doorman job in a night club. inside the club was this rich guy with body guards, the body guards were more like ex army, ex sas, there were all huge blokes, well over 200 pounds. My instructor. got a call on his walkie talkie, saying that there was an incident at the dance floor. so He and another guy went down, only to see 4 huge blokes arguing with the even bigger body guards of this rich foreign guy. He was terrified. but luckily he managed to came them down, took one guy out the back and did what was necessary.
My instructor now no longer does doorman at that club.

hi petemills
right well yep france has a different way of doing things

and the new licenses are out so you can now report this in the uk
if you are asking if i had bad experiances then yes to many times useto end up in a fight every 2 to three working days not with bounces directly more indirectly as so of them did this for extra money

well it all when down to experiance in the end

anyway some tips for you in the army you are told to go for the eyes as if thay cant see you thay cant hurt you

and in other places thay teach you to take the advantage
size will not matter so take the eyes and the advantage first
and leave dont wait around
all the best from mark
