I only know of its use in the new Batman films, but have no other reference than that. I'd love to see someone who actually practices it give some info on it.

Holding the head looks a little odd, but ive seen guys doing this in Leeds and when they are efficient at it, its pretty good stuff.
Personally I respect the innovation of it. Unlike balls on string.
