Many schools no longer teach pure Taekwon-Do but teach some watered down variant mixed with other martial arts, or along lines so far removed from Taekwon-Do that it barely resembles the art and loses all the power and dynamics that real Taekwon-Do gives a student. It is important for any student who wants to learn true Taekwon-Do to ensure they train at a school still strictly aligned to the ITF, teaching on the principals provided and laid down by General Choi. |
