"iu-Jitsu de Brazil is the legendary Joe Moreira's school.  After several years of training professional fighters and traveling the world to teach seminars Joe Moreira is back and pushing the envelope to expand his new Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Costa Mesa, CA.

We welcome anyone who has the slightest interest in the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or submission grappling, to come and check out a class.  Feel free to observe the first time or participate.  Whether you are a competitive athlete, student, working parent, or a stay at home parent, we have the right training for you.  We have a wide array of training partners.  We have students who train to compete and we have students that train for fun.  No matter what your taste we will accommodate your training needs.

There is an atmosphere that creates a tight bond between our students here at the academy.  This is a staple of our school.  This is what we believe makes a school great.

Joe Moreira has many students that train under him in turn bringing a very deep pool of talent for new comers to pull from.  Our blue belts are just as willing to help you as our black belts.  When it comes to learning nothing is held back from our students.  More importantly you will be exposed to Joe Moreira's highly reputable and sought after teaching style.
