Sai Martial Arts Rochdale

"The club trains on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and also on Saturday mornings.

The club was started in 2001 by Sensei Jamie Ward and Sensei Damian Ward who both had trained in Ju-jitsu and Karate for some 25 years combined.

Originaly part of the WJJF they left in 2004 deciding to become members of the UK Martial Arts Association, after 3 years with UK Mar they then decided to become members of the CMAA where they are currently members of.

The club now teaches and competes in Ju-jitsu, Ground FIghting, Kick Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and has had quite a lot of success with 3 TYGA world champions in Ju-jitsu, 1 World Champion in MMA under BBI and two runners up in the Nationals in Grappling.

The club also competes monthly in Stoke in submission wrestling and ground fighting competitions where the competition level has got so great competitions of Cage Rage and BJJ are using it as their training ground.
