"The Martial Art School - Nottingham was founded in 2003 by Sensei Ilja Hoffmann, who is one of the highest graded martial arts instructors in Nottingham area. With over twenty years of experience and black belt levels reached in martial arts such as Judo, Ju-Jutsu and Budo Taijutsu (Ninjutsu), he is undoubtedly one of the finest around.

For the first three and a half years our school was based on Dakeyne Street, where we closely cooperated with the team of the Portland Judo Club. In January 2007 we moved then to our new location and are now situated within the premises of the Bushido MMA Academy - Top Floor in Alfred House, Ashley Street off Carlton Road"
