"Welcome to the Ely School of Taekwon-do website. We are a long time established school which is instructed by Master John Taylor VIII. The school is a member of the ITF Wales which in turn is a member of the UKTA, the original Taekwon-Do association set up in 1967 by Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha IX who introduced Taekwon-do to the UK. As part of the Welsh UKTA network, many of our members have gone on to gain black belt qualification, train under leading experts within the organisation and win countless medals at regional, national and international competition level.
