| About My School: | Exeter Practical Martial Arts™ (EPMA™) is a friendly and professionally-run club based in Exeter, Devon. Exeter Practical Martial Arts™ is not a sport-based club and will not attend tournaments. Exeter Practical Martial Arts’™ training is based upon classical and reality-based martial arts, with a lot of padwork (for power generation and aerobic and anaerobic fitness), patterns (for concentration, technique perfection and applications study and remembrance), two-person drills (for self-defence and realism) and pattern-based sparring (controlled contact sparring at all ranges, standing up, and on the ground). |
