Martial Arts Background
Martial Arts Member Since: 01-01-74
Main Styles: BB in a CMA style of dubious authenticity. lol.
Love CMA for their mystique, JKD associated stuff for their missionary style exploration, kickboxing, point fighting and weapons work, Eskrima for the randomness of it all.
Why I Love Martial Arts: Cos we all take ourselves too seriously and it's fun talking to other equally confused people (especially when they are in denial).
How I Started: Early influences would be Zorro, David Carradine and Bruce Lee.
Current Goal: Convince one person I'm sane.
Current School: School of life
Awards & Accomplishments: Got a few cardboard boxes full of trophies and certificates.
So busy it's likely they'll be open or scrapped posthumously.
How would Bruce Lee have described you?: LOL. Like water. Tap Water.

I'm scouring my copy of this book just now.
I'm finding both factual and contemporary.
It's a 'one stop shop' for the modern Combat Athlete.

Having read Lesley's review, I can see where she is coming from in that some of the exercises may look too hard for women, but I don't think this book is aimed at people who aren't looking to compete at high level, or at least that's how I'm reading it.

I actually like cheesey MA flicks.
As a career launcher, this ticked all the boxes for me.
Jaa's talent is what showed.
Warrior King was a worthy second movie.
Hope for more.
