| My Background: | My background in martial arts starts back in school with judo and then karate (shotokan) from their my martail journey took me to Wing chun (simon lau) which i stidied for 3+ years and also to black tiger kung fu, from their i went on to study and teach aikido (shin shin toitsu) alonf g the way i also studied western boxing, muay thai, modern fencing. I also have a keen interest in various methods of stick fighting , mostly "Shillelagh Irish Stick-Fighting" and portuguese "jogo de pau" Stick-Fighting. I also teach self defence and have worked with schools and the british embassy. |

| About My School: | We are soon to be opening a gymnasium near cascais in portugal, the idea for the gym apart from the base non martial arts part will allow martial artists from all styles to come together and train or cross train we have grappling mats and grappling dumies and a full range of bags along with tyres for lifting and fliping and hitting with sledge hammers, a full range of kettlebells and dumbells, plenty of olympic bars and lifting platforms etc during the "quieter" summer months we hope to be hosting regular "boot camps" and short holidays with accomodation etc from the uk. |
