 "This is pretty much my life at the moment. Foreigners are few and far between and foreigners that practice martial arts are even rarer. This was the tournament lineup for the 32nd Saga Prefecture, karate championship. 06/04/08")
 "At the beginning of march there was a parade in Saga prefecture where people were invited to dress in garb from the Edo Era of Japan and act as an escort for the daimyo and princess. I was guarding the daimyo and stationed as an archer but I thought it was much more me to lose the bow and draw one of my swords. I don't think people in England would be allowed to walk the streets armed to the teeth.")

This photo was taken when Koga Sensei was still able to train. He is a 7th Dan in Wado Ryu Karate and has been a great influence to many people. We still follow his dojo-kun "tsuyoku, yasashiku, yasashiku, tsuyoku" (Be strong, be kind hearted, be kind hearted, be strong).
