Re:Hilarious 10 Brick Karate Chop Attemp Video - U Silly Billy - mproweSun May 25th 2008 9:07 Okay that was a bit funny. The sad thing is that I have seen the same thing happen a couple of times. A person starts to strike for the break, then realizes that the break isn\'t right, alters course of hand. This case I see he smashed his hand on the support blocks.
I did that once, but I broke the Support Black. Kinda a cool actually. But it couldhave been funny had I done it as in this video.
Re:Hilarious 10 Brick Karate Chop Attemp Video - U Silly Billy - SteveBruceMon May 26th 2008 8:59 I remember completely messing up a break in a demonstration when I was at uni. I don\'t know what was worse me messing up or the fact that most people thought I had done it wrong on purpose for comedy effect.

It\'s the fact that he is so serious while taking aim again and again and again! If he had concentrated any more the bricks would have melted...
Re:Hilarious 10 Brick Karate Chop Attemp Video - U Silly Billy - dmccarthyWed May 28th 2008 7:07 heh, that\'s funny.
Kinda goes along with my theories on breaking. I have a 3 step process for breaking when I have to do it (can you tell it is something I don\'t really care for)...
1) Set it
Make sure you know how to set your break correctly, and don\'t assume your board holders know what they are doing. You are responsible for your own break.
2) Check it
Make sure your stations is exactly where you want it, and you are placed where you need to be. This does NOT mean to practice going through your break umpteen million times before step 3.
3) Break it
Look at it as a one shot deal. Yes, it is possible to break on a second or even third attepmt, but you shouldn\'t need it.
Re:Hilarious 10 Brick Karate Chop Attemp Video - U Silly Billy - mproweSat May 31st 2008 2:18 I usually prefer just to walk up and break, but then the people don\'t feel as OMG! So I have been told that I have to be dramatic about it, and take time to set up.
I hate breaking, But when I do demos I like to show off a bit, I really like my Spear Hand Board break. Gets lots of cringes when I do it.
outstanding
